The Welfare-to-Work Program is designed to assist individuals receiving cash aid benefits through the CalWORKs Program. Employers’ Training Resource (ETR) offers employment and training in the Welfare-to-Work Program. The primary benefit of the Welfare-to-Work Program is to provide you with the tools required to prepare for work and to be able to support your family. Our goal is to assist you in realizing your full potential so that you and your children can improve the quality of your life.

As a participant in the Welfare-to-Work Program, you have the opportunity to participate in activities that will help you get back into the workforce so that you can support your family without the assistance of cash aid.

You may be eligible to receive supportive services if you are actively participating in the Welfare-to-Work Program. We can assist you with the following:

• Childcare Assistance
• Transportation
• Employment/Training Related Costs
